Autumn’s Journey is the first visual novel by Apple Cider, a group me and some online friends formed for a “create your own visual novel in a month” challenge in 2013.
We used the world of Ishtera, a world I created years ago, as the setting; making it the first game I’ve ever worked on that’s actually a personal project.
We developed most of the game during March-May in 2013, but I wanted to keep adding to it. We also ended up commissioning backgrounds to another artist and releasing it in 2014.
As the Lead Artist, I was in charge of character design, character art and event illustrations.
